it is like family. Often in the morning you will see people on the street in front of their houses talking to each other still
wearing their pajamas. Then it progress and while eating breakfast someone forgot to buy sugar or ran out of bread and
quickly run to the store next store in their pajamas to buy a loaf of bread or get the sugar for their coffee they forgot. Last
night as I was returning from dinner in Shanghai, I saw an almost elegant couple with their daughter taking a midnight
stroll in their pajamas. Shanghai a very elegant city but there are still left overs from country life. As the family was walking
in front of me for a block or more I observed their behavior. The husband and wife were holding hands. The wife was in
her pajamas and the man was wearing slacks and high quality shirt and fancy leather shoes. The daughter had on bright
pink pajamas. She was maybe 12 or 14 years old. It was actually charming to see the vestiges of country life in a large
modern city.
